CSBA has published a revised version of the Brown Act/School Boards and Open Meeting laws and has included a "frequently asked questions" chapter to help update board members on new Brown Act requirements. This review of the Brown Act and other open meeting laws has been prepared to help school board members understand the intent as well as the letter of the law governing deliberations and actions taken by school board members in board meetings.
